Cappadonna born circa 1969 had known the Wu-Tang Clan members since grade school in Staten Island, and he had even decided at the age of 15 that he could write and perform lyrics. With that album, he became an official member of the Wu-Tang Killa Beez, and from there on out, he frequently appeared on Wu records. In 1996, he played a large role on Ghostface Killah's Ironman.

Cappadonna's status as a Wu-Tang member or as a featured artist has varied throughout the years, while long referred to by both the group and fans as the "Unofficial Tenth Member". Also, while his vocals on 8 Diagrams were not marked with "Feat. Cappadonna", much like The W, he does not appear on the front cover with the original eight living members, and is not featured in the album's booklet with a picture, although he is included in the group's shout-outs sections  . 2007 "Don't Turn Around".

For the only casually obsessive Wu-Tang fan, this two-album distillation is a better choice than either of his first two solo records, though it's a baffler why this was even released. The one quality that would've made it worthwhile, the inclusion of his Wu-Tang Clan features, is a missed opportunity
