Horse burial is the practice of burying a horse as part of the ritual of human burial, and is found among many Indo-European peoples and others, including Chinese and Turkic peoples. The act indicates the high value placed on horses in the particular cultures and provides evidence of the migration of peoples with a horse culture. Human burials that contain other livestock are rare; in Britain, for example, 31 horse burials have been discovered but only one cow burial, unique in Europe
What is sky burial? When a Tibetan person dies, the family lights butter lamps beside the deceased while monks pray and give blessings over the body for three to five days. During this time the body is not touched. Instead, they stay home and pray. Villagers take the body to the sky burial site by horse or car. The master of the sky burial ceremony performs rituals over the body. He then burns incense and tsampa to summon the vultures. In no time, birds begin to circle over the site.

His newest album is the first one he released on the Polish label Wrotycz Records, which often is a guarantee for great music. Content: Chapel Image features one single track, which invites the listener to embark for a sonic voyage that will move on for 45 minutes. The trip will be animated by a dark-ambient atmosphere reinforced by field recordings and multiple sound manipulations. – – : I have already heard more fascinating work from Sky Burial. It however is a cool album, but maybe a little less predictable. Conclusion: You get the sensation of diving into an obscure abyssal universe animated by obscure sonic passages. It’s a trip through the unknown, which might inspire dreams and maybe nightmares.
As these five ts and experimenters work through creaking doom and obliterative marches, smoldering introductions and scowling grooves, the sense that they’re loving every moment of this is pervasive. They foreground their enthusiasm and counter the darkness with contagious élan. Appropriate for an album so obsessed by the beginnings that endings can.
