Where Did Our Love Go is the second studio album by Motown singing group The Supremes, released in 1964. The album includes several of the group's singles and B-sides from 1963 and 1964. Included are the group's first Billboard Pop Singles number-one hits, "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", and "Come See About Me", as well as their first Top 40 hit, "When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes", and the singles "A Breathtaking Guy" and "Run, Run, Run".
The album cuts are all top-notch, culled from various recording sessions, with stand-outs including 'Ask Any Girl' (the B-side to 'Baby Love'), which could easily have been a hit in its own right, and 'I'm Giving You Your Freedom', capturing an unusually earthy vocal from Diana Ross. There's much to savour here and this is a classic album by Motown's finest. Author of Diana Ross Reflections.
Damn, those historical facts were very interesting AND accurate. Despite living near London (well, quite) I had only been a few times (guys, I AM only fifteen) so I found her descriptions of locations very detailed. I also appreciated all the CORRECT facts.
The man became irate, saying that Andorra didn’t exist but it was right where Taured should be. His proud country had existed for a thousand years. The following morning, the mystery deepened. Taured’s one and only known resident completely vanished from his hotel room which had been guarded by immigration officials all night long.
Oh, baby, baby, where did our love go Oh, baby, baby, don't you leave me no more I've got this burnin', yearnin', yearnin' feelin' inside me Oooh deep inside me And it hurts so bad. Baby, baby, baby, where did our love go Don't you leave me Don't you leave me no more And now that I'm surrounded, so helplessly You know I believe, you wanna leave me. Oh, baby, baby where did our love go Where did our love go Where where where Now that I'm surrounded oh so helplessly You know I believe, that you wanna leave me Baby where did our love go Where did.
