Dawn Of Ashes - Genocide Chapters download mp3 album
First metal album by Dawn Of Ashes. Genocide Chapters is death metal with symphonic black metal elements. Nothing new, but some tracks may deliver pleasure to listener. My personal favs: "Nyarlathotep's Children Of The Void", "Carnal Consummation in the Empty Space" and "Epilogue-Beginning of the End".
Since DAWN OF ASHES (DoA) formed in 2001, the band has made transitions in line-ups and sound to create their ideal artistic outlet.
Dawn of Ashes’ d/highly cinematic blend of black and death metal has fallen out of favor for more primitive means of late, which explains why the band’s third album, Genocide Chapters comes as a mild shock to the system. It rings out like a milder Graveworm, but has the cohesion that more bands would be advised to take note of. Subtract the over-produced nature and too-long songtitles, and Genocide Chapters would have a better shot at climbing the ladder. The best song here is the first song, which is never a promising sign
Genocide Chapters is a fantastic album by Dawn of Ashes, and I really hope the band continues to explore the melodic black metal genre in the future. They really hit the nail on the head with this release, and I have to applaud them for taking a big risk, and more importantly, succeeding tremendously. I'm sure that if Dawn of Ashes improves on a couple of things (making some of the songs more memorable, making more prevalent basslines) they can create a masterpiece in the future
Blasphemous Ex-Cyber Goths Play Metal - 90%. Talong222, April 13th, 2012. First of all, let me explain that Genocide Chapters is the first metal release from Dawn of Ashes. The unholy album kicks off with the first track, Conjuration of the Maskim's Black Blood. Atmospheric keys and catchy guitar riffs create a pretty upbeat mood, and I find it hard to not start moshing every time I play this song. The guitars themselves are pretty well-executed throughout the entire album, and there are even a couple of solos near the end that are guaranteed to raise the hairs on your neck.
Dawn of Ashes is an American extreme metal band founded in 2000 from Los Angeles, California, United States. The name Dawn of Ashes is an allegorical metaphor meaning "beginning of the end"
