As an album, "Hypnotised" is more sophisticated and experimental than "The Undertones", but it's definitely a punk rock album. If I had to introduce someone to the Undertones, I'd probably use this album (and I have). The Undertones deserved (and still deserve - they're still around!) to be so much bigger than they were/are. This is another great album from The Undertones. Fans of the Buzzcocks, The Ramones, or even The Beatles, The Animals, etc, might enjoy this.
I was out on my own My friends weren't there Just about to go home When you made me stare. I fell into a trance Just watching you dance My world had stopped When I saw your eyes on me. H-Y-P, I'm hypnotised H-Y-P, I'm hypnotised H-Y-P. People look at me Standing by myself But I only can see You and no one else. I was still in a trance Still watching you dance My world had stopped When I saw your eyes on me. H-Y-P, I'm hypnotised H-Y-P, I'm hypnotised H-Y-P
