THE ENFIELDS "SONGS OF TED MUNDA" Distortions DB 1003 60s/1991 with 4 Page history Insert. Excellent compilation spanning the short lived career of Ted Munda and his two projects. I have the lp version, but I've also heard the extra tracks that were compiled for the cd and are mostly Friends of the Family songs, all of which are essential garage listening. This doesn't really follow your typical doomy or gruff garage sound, trading it in for a rather poppy edge with Left Banke leanings, or something similiar with a more basement feel.

The Enfields were an American garage rock/psychedelic band out of Wilmington, Deleware who were active in the 1960s. Led by guitarist and songwriter Ted Munda, their style was highly influenced by the British Invasion and folk rock. While considered the top group in Wilmington at the time, the band failed to reach a wider national audience. The Enfields broke up in 1967, and Munda went on to form the group The Friends Of The Family. Forming in 1964, The Enfields came together as a merber between two Wilmington bands called the Playboys and the Touchstones

Ted Nugent is the debut studio album by American hard rock musician Ted Nugent. The album was released in September 1975, by Epic Records. It was released after the disbanding of his former group The Amboy Dukes. Tired of The Amboy Dukes' lack of effort and discipline, Nugent decided he had enough and left the group. He took a three-month vacation (his first ever) clearing his head in the Colorado wilderness, spending his time deer hunting and enjoying the outdoors.
