Chip Taylor (born James Wesley Voight; March 21, 1940) is an American songwriter, noted for writing "Angel of the Morning" and "Wild Thing. His songs have been covered, and often made into hits, by a wide range of artists from Janis Joplin to Juice Newton, and from Anne Murray to Ace Frehley, including Jimi Hendrix, Chrissie Hynde, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris.
Third Eye Blind is the debut studio album by American rock band Third Eye Blind, released on April 8, 1997. The album spawned five singles, including the top ten chart hits "Semi-Charmed Life", "Jumper", and "How's It Going to Be". While Third Eye Blind only peaked at on the Billboard 200, it spent 106 weeks on the chart.

Chip Taylor (b. January 1, 1940 in New York City) is the stage name of American songwriter James Wesley Voight noted for writing the song, Wild Thing. Taylor's brothers are the actor, Jon Voight, and the geologist, Barry Voight. He is the uncle of actors Angelina Jolie and James Haven. After a hardly successful attempt to become a professional golfer, Taylor entered the music business.
