Sanctuary was always a "decent" band waaaay back whenwith some killer riffs & awesome lyricism. This is clearly their best album as it would be reflective of the years of work it's members have put into other bands. They clearly know how to write a great song with a great riff that gets the metalheads attention. After that, I got the band's first album, Refuge Denied, and followed the entire Nevermore career. I've been wanting to hear a new Sanctuary album for a long time, and the day has come. I'm really digging The Year the Sun Died. high pitched vocals in excess annoy me. So he's singing like I got used to hearing it in Nevermore.
