New Salem Witch Hunters's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

Salem had been inactive since 2012, with no new releases since their 2011 EP 'I'm Still In The Night'. This lack of activity caused fans to question the status of the band, leading most to assume the band had ended. Salem officially returned with a remix of Make It Up As You Go Along by Wolfgang Tillmans on his Device Control E. .

New Salem Witch Hunters has been added to your Cart. The New Salem Witch Hunters are a Garage-Rock institution in their native Cleveland, Ohio and this CD is the long-overdue reissue (first time on CD) of their Debut LP originally released by Cleveland-based Herb Jackson Records in 1986 (ref. HJR-4709). In fact, we highly recommend this album to all Cynics fans. Guitarist Tom Fallon and long time partner singer Dave Atkins have a similar songwriting approach as Kastelic-Kostelich of the Cynics and Tom even plays the same vintage Gretsch guitar as Gregg Kostelich! So there.

Not Now. Salem Witch Museum. History Museum in Salem, Massachusetts.

A witch is a man or woman who is initiated into Witchcraft. Witchcraft is the practice of black magic (or "Maleficium") whose adherents are alternatively called "witches". According to Reverend Increase Mather, the practice of witchcraft dates as far back to the beginning of humankind, implying that the biblical characters, Adam and Eve, were the first of all witches
