Before I Forget is a 1982 album by Jon Lord, featuring a largely conventional eight-song line-up, no orchestra. The bulk of the songs are either mainstream rock tracks ("Hollywood Rock and Roll", "Chance on a Feeling") or, specifically on Side Two, a series of very English classical piano ballads sung by mother and daughter duo, Vicki Brown and Sam Brown (wife and daughter of entertainer Joe Brown) and vocalist Elmer Gantry.

Sofia Coll is an independent music artist based in Barcelona (Spain). As a composer, her music speaks mostly about personal growth, love and affection from a broad perspective; what she sees, feels and listens to in her environment also influences when writing his lyrics and melodies. Moving between Pop and R & B, her music also flows among other influences such as Soul, Indie Español, Reggae, among others. Sofia is a singer who loves to dance and transmit the songs she sings; a strong identity that has defined her as a true interpreter

1 to 8 are the tracks from the original album, which is released as LP in June 1982 (Harvest SHSP 4123), track 9 is the non-album-track from the 7"-single "Bach Onto This" (released on Harvest HAR 5220 in May 1982). Tracks 10 to 12 are previously unissued tracks from the album sessions. The booklet came as a special foldout inlay with detailed notes.

This piqued interest, and "What's Love Got To Do With It" was released in May a few weeks before the Private Dancer album. Turner got lots of positive press and her comeback story helped her build momentum.

Title: I'll Never Forget What's'isname (1967). When the leading lady of a low-budget musical revue sprains her ankle, the assistant stage manager is forced to understudy and perform in her place, becoming a star and finding love in the process. Director: Ken Russell.

What’s the point of reading if I just forget it all anyway? Paul Graham, essayist and founder of startup incubator Y Combinator, asks much the same question in his essay How You Know: I’ve read Villehardouin’s chronicle of the Fourth Crusade at least two times, maybe three. First of all, if you love books, memory is never a problem. If I read for pure pleasure, what harm is there in forgetting? I get to enjoy the same wonderful book over and over again - for the book-lover, what better gift is there than forgetfulness?
