Mutter (German for "mother") is the third album by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It was released on 2 April 2001 through Motor Music. The album's cover image is a photograph of a dead fetus, which was taken by Daniel & Geo Fuchs. The album has yielded six singles which, to date, are the most released from any Rammstein album. From September to December 1999, the band rented the house Weimar in Heiligendamm on the Baltic Sea for pre-production

For the album version, Jóhann rewrote the entire score, and it was recorded by a sixty-piece string orchestra. He also added a new final section and incorporated electronics alongside those original tape recordings of the singing computer. Fordlandia is the sixth full-length studio album by Icelandic musician Jóhann Jóhannsson. The album was released on 3 November 2008 via 4AD, his second new release for the record label (following 2006's IBM 1401, A User's Manual). The album is thematically influenced by the failure of Henry Ford's Brazilian rubber plant Fordlândia.

Bassist Rutger Gunnarsson, who made waves with Swedish pop sensation ABBA, has passed away. Originally a guitarist, he was studying at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm when a friend convinced him to audition for the Hootenanny Singers, a folk band that included future ABBA frontman Björn Ulvaeus. The bassist became a part of ABBA in 1972. After struggling for a couple years, the band won the 1974 Eurovision contest with Waterloo. It would be the band’s first major . hit, but certainly not the last.
