This is some of the best material of 07 in my eyes. Ceephax has taken a really strong turn away from his more straight forward Acid sound. This EP is full of very fast drum breaks, but on top of that he throws down really fast and tiny Acid lines and alot of distorted beats. But most importantly, this outing shows his maturity in that the synth lines he chooses are some of the most beautiful and emotive sounds to come from Andy maybe ever. Side B is classic IDM, while side A's Stir Fry Jungle is more breakcore based with a little if no melody(very rare for Ceepahx), and Friend Track is a Acid stormer but one with very subtle changes in it's programming, nothing to dramatic. Side B's tunes are the best he has to offer, And here he shows of his work with synths and it's amazing. Time Tunnel is just plain epic and Castilian is the best combination of Chiptune and breaks I’ve EVER heard. These tracks are very nostalgic for me. I am hoping his new Planet Mu album will be more of this and not as much straight forward Acid Techno.
