Rudolf Schock - Stars In Gold download mp3 album

Gold is a series of two-disc compilation albums released by Universal Music Group. Some include tracks licensed from non-Universal labels. Earlier Gold series compilations had a design based on that of ABBA Gold, such as the compilations for The Carpenters and Etta James.
Rudolf Johann Schock (4 September 1915 – 13 November 1986) was a German tenor. Rudolf Schock was born in Duisburg, in the Prussian Rhine Province. He sang a wide repertoire from operetta to Lohengrin, recording among others opera and lieder, doing television, radio and film work. Slim and handsome, he made many films. His voice fell almost into the heldentenor fach but was smaller and more ardent than many voices in that category.

Gold Masters: Rudolf Schock, Vol. 1. Rudolf Schock. 4 more albums featuring this track. Rudolf Schock (September 4, 1915 - November 13, 1986) was a German tenor. Schock had a wide repertory from operetta to Lohengrin, recording among others opera and lieder, doing television, radio and film work. Blessed with a mezza-voice that rivaled Beniamino Gigli in sweetness, he had that Italian "tear" in his voice. His voice had a unique recognizable sound. Schock first burst on the scene after World War II in 1947. He was one of the first Germans to sing at Covent Garden in 1949.
