Not bad at all, Zubz is a rapid fire spitting M.C straight out of Zimbabwe, or atleast thats what they say. His multi-syllabic rhyme scheme attampts are impressive but the lyrics need a serious boost. My favourite cut was the posse joint with him, Proverb and Tumi, "Once Upon A Time In Africa". A furious typhoon of rhymes over a Battlecat(Not the Westcoast producer)production. Battlecats beats are actually quite dope, clearly of the DJ Spinna, Premier and Rawkus records school of thought, Battlecats production are ambitious attempts. Speaking of the posse kut though I can't help but feel that Poverb, Tumi and Zubs are actually the same dude playing with his voice...I wonder anyway overall its okay, Zubs can do better coz he already shows signs of an awesome rapper but rhyming certain words together just to rhyme just doesn't fly anymore and with beats like Battlecats behind you, you owe it to yourself to kill it sir. 2.5 out of 5
