Symphonic Music of Yes is a 1993 album by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, covering songs of the progressive rock band Yes, with the English Chamber Orchestra and the London Community Gospel Choir. The arrangements were by Dee Palmer. Playing on the album were Yes guitarist Steve Howe and Yes drummer Bill Bruford. Some tracks also featured Yes vocalist Jon Anderson and featured the ABWH additional keyboardist Julian Colbeck. Music by Yes; Arranged and conducted by Dee Palmer.

The band and the orchestral arrangements take no chances, and that's precisely the problem: if you lived in a Roger Dean landscape, this would be the music playing in the elevators. There are a few bright spots in the passable renditions of "Mood for a Day" and "Heart of the Sunrise," and an interesting reworking of "Soon. But the rest of the album really is just appalling

This disk was sent by RCA to record stores, to use for in-store play to promote "the Symphonic Music of Yes" album. The album itself looked promising, having Jon Anderson, Steve Howe and Bill Bruford playing there respective roles along with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The arrangements were done by David (now Dee) Palmer (of Jethro Tull fame), and the recording was produced by Alan Parsons. All that pedigree would indicate that the album would be much better than it actually turned out. On this short set, there are two versions of Roundabout.
