This 10 CD box set of Mozart's symphonies includes performances originally issued at the end of the 1960's following intensive recording sessions in Berlin in March and November 1968, to record all of the earlier symphonies so that they could supplement the earlier recordings made in 1959 through 1966. All performances are by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Karl Böhm. In 1996 Deutsche Grammophon re-issued these performances in this 10 CD collection (the box set displayed here), and then in 2006 they re-issued them again (Mozart: The Symphonies).
