Past Present" - Clannad. U2 Related Content: "In a Lifetime" (Studio Version) - Clannad (featuring Bono) (03:10). Full Track List: Theme from Harry’s Game (2:26). Closer to Your Heart (3:28). It was also released as a single on three occasions, first in January 1986 as the third single released from Macalla and in 1989 as a promotional track for the Past Present collection of songs, and finally in 1993 in Europe at a time when the song was being used as an advertising campaign for Jameson Whiskey. The song starts with Máire Brennan being heard teaching Bono Gaelic during the instrumental intro to the song. The initial single reached in the UK singles chart, and thus it remains one of Clannad’s most successful songs.

Pastpresent is an anthology spanning five Clannad albums from 1982 to 1989. The full range of the band's styles are presented here, from the gorgeous a cappella song that opens the album, to slick pop/rock, acoustic guitar ballads, Irish folk strains, and sophisticated power pop crunch. Along the way, we are treated to a lyrical harp and flute instrumental, several songs sung in Gaelic, and two new pieces (recorded, in part, at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios), designed to make this retrospective a collector's item.

Pastpresent is a compilation album by Irish folk group Clannad, released in 1989. Three singles were released to promote the compilation: "The Hunter", "In a Lifetime" (re-issue) and the band's only double A-side "Hourglass"/"Theme from Harry's Game".

Clannad is the debut album by Irish folk group Clannad. It was released in 1973 by Philips Ireland. It was reissued in 1982 under the name The Pretty Maid. In 1997, it was released on CD for the first time by Royal Records International again under the name Clannad, with a bonus track from 1975. The album features songs in both Irish Gaelic and English, including a cover version of Bonnie Dobson's "Morning Dew", as well as many traditional Irish songs. All tracks Traditional; except where indicated.

Past Present is a music boxset/compilation recording by CLANNAD (Prog Folk/Progressive Rock) released in 1989 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette.
