The Gaylads are a Jamaican vocal group. They were one of the top rocksteady vocal groups active in Jamaica between 1963 and 1973. The group, formed in Kingston, originally consisted of singers Harris ". Seaton, Winston Delano Stewart and Maurice Roberts; Seaton and Stewart had previously been successful as the duo Winston & Bibby. There would be several line-up changes throughout The Gaylads' ten-year history, with Maurice Roberts remaining the only constant member.

French Reggae site Reggae. fr posted a video with the mighty Gaylads recently. The band currenty consists of Harris ‘BB’ Seaton, Maurice Roberts and Randall Thaxter who of course played here in LA for the first time earlier this year. They talk a little bit about what inspired them including what famous Motown band they really liked listening to, how it was recording with The Skatalites and how that contributed to their music. I've been involved in the Los Angeles music scene since at least 1995 going to shows, promoting, spinning records and running labels.

The busiest time of the week for travel from Portland to Eugene by bus is usually around 3:00 PM on Sunday. When planning to travel around this time, tickets should be booked well in advance as they may sell out and you may find buses more full than usual. Around 12:00 PM on Monday tends to be when the fewest number of bus tickets are sold. If you’re looking for a little extra space, buses departing at this time are the least likely to be crowded.
