It reached No. 12 in the UK Singles Chart in September 1964, and reached No. 1 on the Cashbox chart (No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100) in the United States at the beginning of December 1964. In Canada, it reached No. 2. Rolling Stone magazine ranked "She's Not There" No. 297 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Are you mine? Woah, ah. I guess what I'm trying to say is I need the deep end Keep imagining meeting, wished away entire lifetimes Unfair we're not somewhere misbehaving for days Great escape, lost track of time and space She's a silver lining climbing on my desire. R U Mine? was then re-recorded for the album AM. The song delves into the relationship between casual flirtation and addictive lust, with Alex describing himself as just a puppet for her, completely under her control and compulsively begging for her affection. What have the artists said about the song?

Are you mine? I guess what I’m trying to say is I need the deep end. Keep imagining meeting, wished away entire lifetimes. Unfair we’re not somewhere misbehaving for days. Great escape, lost track of time and space. She’s a silver lining climbing on my desire. And I go crazy cause here isn’t where I wanna be. And satisfaction feels like a distant memory. Are you mine? She’s a silver lining lone ranger riding through an open space. In my mind when she’s not right there beside me.

You can find the song if you only know parts of the song's lyrics. Looking for a song, male singer, indie/folk style. Has a lyric that says I got a girl in California who says she’s carrying my child. I’m not too sure so I only think of her every once in a while. Chorus is every once in a while Song title probably something to do with every once in a while but I don’t know the singer name.
