Alan Stivell's second release is a brilliant live album, recorded at l'Olympia in Paris in 1972, and it's a must for any celtic music fan. An eclectic and beautiful mixture of progressive rock, folk and celtic music. The first few tracks are acoustic gems with only Alan Stivell singing and playing the harp and acoustic guitars. On the remaining tracks, things are really perked up with a full progressive rock vibe and atmospheres

Alan Stivell (born Alan Cochevelou on 6 January 1944) is a Breton and Celtic musician and singer, recording artist, and master of the Celtic harp. From the early 1970s, he revived global interest in the Celtic (specifically Breton) harp and Celtic music as part of world music. He was the precursor of Celtic rock
An incredible live album that captures Stivell just as he was inventing Celtic-rock fusion, raising the shades of Celtic traditions nearly forgotten while presenting it in a way that speaks to us now. I like these live songs better than the studio versions, because they have such energy. They also remind me of the night I first heard Stivell and his band. I was just two days a freshman at Georgetown University, and my dorm occupied the top floor of a Gothic building that also housed a decommissioned chapel used for smaller performances.
