Love is the eponymous debut album by the Los Angeles-based rock band Love, and was released in March 1966 on Elektra Records. Arthur Lee, who was originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but had lived in Los Angeles since he was five, had been recording since 1963 with his bands, the LAG's and Lee's American Four. He had written and also produced the single "My Diary" for Rosa Lee Brooks in 1964 which featured Jimi Hendrix on guitar.

In addition, he's had many songs with phrase Rub A Dub in the title, the most acclaimed of these is To The Rub A Dub Session. Osbourne is also the most in-demand vocalist for dubplates due to the amount of dancehall classics he's had. This has resulted in the nickname Dancehall Godfather. lt;/p

Johnny Osbourne (born Errol Osbourne, 1948) is a popular Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer from Kingston, Jamaica, who rose to success in the late 1970s and mid 1980s. His album Truths and Rights was a notable roots reggae success, and featured "Jah Promise" and the album's title track, "Truths and Rights". However, he is probably best known for his mid 1980s dancehall reggae hits "Buddy Bye" (based on King Jammy's Sleng Teng riddim), "Ice Cream Love" and "Water Pumping".

Truth and Rights is rightfully considered Johnny Osbourne's masterpiece, a stellar album of resurrected Studio One rhythms wed to the singer's heartfelt new cultural lyrics. The album was a hit, but Osbourne was already off to work with other producers, starting with the up-and-coming Henry "Junjo" Lawes. Lawes, the master of dread dancehall, launched Barrington Levy to fame, then introduced the world to Eek-A-Mouse, before giving everyone "Diseases" via the Michigan & Smiley smash.
