This album features traditional Japanese unaccompanied shakuhachi music called Honkyoku (本曲) It was recorded at Inception Sound Studios, Toronto, Canada August 21st 1988. Additional pieces were added to the CD version that were produced by Ron Korb at LM Studios, Osaka, Japan October 8, 1991. Special thanks to Masako Yamaguchi and Kyakuden Miyako.
