The menorah (Hebrew: מנורה) is a sacred candelabrum used in Jewish ritual practice, and one of the oldest symbols of the Jewish people. In ancient times, the menorah once played a central role in the ritual activities of the Jewish Tabernacle, and subsequent Temple of Jerusalem, as a golden lamp used to illuminate the Ark of the Covenant. It symbolizes the continuously burning menorah (מנורה, the sevenbranched canddelabrum, traditional symbol of Judaism. There are several interpretations of this term – seven branches of the candelabrum are related to seven days of genesis or to the burning bush which was according to the Torah seen by Moses on the Mount Sinai. Besides, it is the second-oldest world´ s synagogue. There is an ancient legend related to the Old-New Synagogue. Rabbi Löw is supposed to have placed Golem in its garret and he had forbidden everyone to go there. However, some people ignored the restriction and they tried to reveal the mystery of the famous Golem.

Staronová Synagoga (Old-New Synagogue). The guide was updated: 2018-04-20. Staronová Synagoga is one of the oldest synagogues in Europe. This is where Rabbi Löw, who created Golem - the clay figure which was to protect Prague’s Jewish population from persecution - preached. It has been an important centre for Czech Jews for centuries. Address: Červená, Prague. Phone: +420 224 800 812.

The name Old New probably documents the fact that at the time it was built, when it was named New, the aim was to distinguish it from an older, non-preserved synagogue in Dušní Street. When more synagogues were built, the name was outlived already, but the older synagogue was still standing, and therefore probably the name Old New. In any case, it was the main religious centre of the Prague Jewish Community

Old New Borrowed and Blue is the fourth studio album by the British rock group Slade. It was released on 15 February 1974 and reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. It has been certified Gold by BPI. The album was produced by Chas Chandler. For the album, Slade attempted to begin breaking away from their usual rock formula. For example, the singles "My Friend Stan" and "Everyday" were piano-led and did not have the typical "Slade" sound.
