WhoMadeWho - Dreams download mp3 album
The latest album Dreams was released in 2014. As a live band, WhoMadeWho has played alongside genre bending contemporaries Daft Punk, Soulwax, Hot Chip, Justice and LCD Soundsystem. After touring together Hot Chip asked to remix their single "TV Friend", and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age has covered "Space to Rent". WhoMadeWho gained further popularity when they headlined the Benicàssim festival in 2007 after a delay caused scheduled headliners, Klaxons, to arrive too late to play their set.
The Copenhagen 3-piece WhoMadeWho open their fifth album, Dreams, with a pair of über-saccharine songs, each a kind of lyrical equivalent of the "Bound 2" video’s backdrop, dispensed without a hint of irony. There’s a heart that beats inside of me, the group sings on the title track’s opening couplet.
Whomadewho - Dreams Danish disco-punks WhoMadeWho are one of Europe's most underrated bands. Yet, after two albums on Kompakt, here they are self-releasing their fifth album, Dreams, and rather than taking it as a given, I feel the need to make the case as to why you should care. A refinement of their sound rather than a radical reinvention, Dreams sees WhoMadeWho taking a step back from the dance floor, bringing to the fore the guitars and the polished, Phoenix-like sheen that has always been an element of their sound.
