T N Krishnan (b. October 6, 1928) whose full name is Trippunitura Narayanan Krishnan is a Carnatic music violinist. Personal life and backgroun. N Krishnan was born in Chennai to A. Narayana Iyer and Ammini Ammal, both Carnatic musicians. He learnt music under Allepey Parthasarathy Iyengar and later Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. He was a Professor of Music at a music college in Chennai and later he was Dean of the School of Music and Fine Arts at the University of Delhi. TN Krishnan is married and has two children Viji Krishnan Natarajan, and Sriram Krishnan.
