This album has had the biggest influence on me musically in my life. There's not a single second of boredom throughout this album. In each track, Genesis create a different story of England, and, yet, they all intertwine. Be it the humour of Epping Forest, the anger and driving force of the opener, the broad, majestic and sweeping Firth of Fifth, or the supremely delicate and mystical Cinema Show, Genesis convey a great spectrum of emotions all encircling around their proud, foolish, beautiful, sprawling, divided home country.
