The Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival is an annual high school jazz festival and competition that takes place every May at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. The festival is aimed at encouraging young musicians to play music by Duke Ellington and other jazz musicians. Every year Jazz at Lincoln Center transcribes arrangements of Ellington's music and sends them to participating high school band directors in the .

The Cumberland School Sports day will take place on Monday 1st July 08:30 start. All students are expexted to attend in FULL SCHOOL PE KIT. Unfortunately we do not have enough space for parents to attend. The Cumberland School will be starting Year 10 Exam Skills sessions every Monday and Wednesday from 17/6/19 until the end of the term. These sessions will run from 3:30 to 4:30pm.
