Richard Noel Marx (born September 16, 1963) is an American adult contemporary and pop/rock singer, songwriter, musician and record producer who has sold over 30 million records. He had a stream of hit singles in the late 1980s and 1990s, including "Endless Summer Nights", "Right Here Waiting", "Now and Forever", a murder ballad "Hazard", and "At the Beginning" with Donna Lewis

Thirty-two years ago today, my very first single Don’t Mean Nothing hit number one on the Billboard rock chart.

Richard Marx is the debut studio album by singer/songwriter and record producer/arranger, Richard Marx, released in June 1987. Richard became the first male solo artist (and second solo artist overall - the first being Whitney Houston) in recording history to reach the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 with four singles from a debut album, including his first number one Pop single "Hold On to the Nights" in mid-1988.

Richard Marx is the eponymous debut album by singer/songwriter and record producer/arranger, Richard Marx, released in June 1987. The album's first single, "Don't Mean Nothing", hit on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart on July 4, 1987.
