The Saw Doctors are an Irish rock band. Formed in 1986 in Tuam, County Galway, they have achieved eighteen Top 30 singles in the Republic of Ireland including three number ones. Their first number one, "I Useta Lover," topped the Irish charts for nine consecutive weeks in 1990 and still holds the record for the country's all-time biggest-selling single. Renowned for their live performances, the band has a cult following, especially in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The CD was released on The Saw Doctor's own record label, Shamtown Records and has the catalogue number of SAWDOC013CD. All the songs on the album are original songs written by members of the band, except for Track 11, "Funny World", which is written by old friend Paul Cunniffe. All songs written by Leo Moran, Davy Carton except as indicated.
Davy and Leo are currently busy writing new songs for the next Saw Doctors album which Shamtown Records plan to release in 2020. In the meantime the two lads have created playlists on this site containing tracks by other artists that have influenced The Saw Doctors down through the years. The Saw Doctors' debut album, If This Is Rock and Roll, I Want My Old Job Back, released in 1991, also reached the top slot on the Irish charts. Although their second album, All the Way from Tuam, released in 1992, was well received in Ireland, the Saw Doctors didn't have their first hit in Great Britain until releasing a four-track EP, Small Bit of Love, which reached the number 24 position on the British charts. A second EP, World of Good, released in January 1996, reached the number 15 position.
