Stuart Davis has a happily hyphenated life: r. He does not sculpt, he is an awful dancer. His first TV series Sex, God, Rock 'n Roll featured a blend of sketches, edgy comedy, and news about showbiz. It aired from 2009-2012. The show got its break when Mark Cuban put it on AXS TV, HDNet. Davis is making a new TV series in 2016 with the London-based company Conscious2. It will be batch-released later this year. Stuart is headed back in the studio this summer to record his 17th album, and his label (SDM) will soon announce its first-ever signing of another artist, an amazing songwriter Davis met while living in Amsterdam for two years. Lurking amid the minutiae of his observations on life and the Universe are some startling insights. Even the gods were grinning. Irish Times, Dublin Ireland.

Stuart Davis (born January 11, 1971) is an American contemporary musician and songwriter. He has been performing throughout the United States and Europe since 1993  . The first two albums in the Stuart Davis catalogue, Idiot Express and Big Energy Dream, are social and romantic critiques featuring simple acoustic guitar progressions and minimal instrumentation characteristic of folk music. His third release, Self-Untitled, received airplay on some alternative and public stations with the songs "Universe Communion" and "Only Changing Drugs". With his fourth album, Nomen Est Numen, Davis shed his folk roots. The music featured driving bass lines, electric guitars, and richer vocal harmonies characteristic of alternative/pop, and lyrically.

From back of CD: "This is a very interesting recording. Not a live show, but actually a ten song session from 1999 where I want into the Churchyard with Tim Frantzich and recorded these ten songs. I played all the "normal" instruments (acoustic/electric guitars, bass, keyboard, squeeze box) and did the vocals, and Tim Frantzich put together all the drum tracks using loops and playing some set as well. Sound is studio quality, but the tracks are not mastered, so they don't have the glossy coat of a finished CD. After we recorded these, I just put them away and forgot about them, but there's a lot here of note to insiders. - Stuart Davis"
