As Mr. Kitty's vocals remind me of Neil Tennant I'd wish for more songs without too much voice distortion.

I completely agree. I haven't been this wowed by a record in years. Part Model 500 Deep Space, part Luke Slater 7th Plain, part Galaxy 2 Galaxy, part Ian O'Brien. Lush detroit-flavored techno/house/ambience with warm strings, saccharine-sweet synth washes, and head-bobbing grooves. This record sounds right at home with any of the top detroit-flavored records from the Golden Era!
