Redirected from Here Comes The Fuzz). Here Comes the Fuzz is the debut studio album by British producer Mark Ronson. The album was released on 8 September 2003, led by the lead single, "Ooh Wee". Unlike Ronson's later releases, his debut album focuses more on the genre of hip-hop, with guest appearances from a number of famous rappers and hip-hop alumni, including Ghostface Killah, . Nate Dogg, Saigon and Sean Paul.
Here Comes The Fuzz, largely a hip hop record, shows Mark Ronson at his start, pulling and whipping out beats and getting people together, and it proved to be an undeniable pop flop. However, despite the lack of a commercial reaction, the record proves to be purely entertaining throughout. If there’s one criticism that could be dealt towards the record, however, is the fact that it’s generally inconsistent in quality of the songs. We have top notch stuff like Ooh Wee, but we also have generally awful pop songs like Rivers Cuomo’s contribution I Suck.

Loaded with guest artists and packed with danceable beats, DJ Mark Ronson's first record, Here Comes the Fuzz, is less a showcase for the New York-based artist's turntable skills and more of a radio-friendly pop-rap party album. A rising star on the NYC club scene since the late '90s, the occasional Tommy Hilfiger model previously produced tracks for other hip downtown scenesters, including Saturday Night Live regular Jimmy Fallon as well as singer Nikka Costa and rapper Sean Paul - both of whom return the favor here.
