Fr Ray Kelly singing in his car. 4. Fr Kelly was a finalist on Britain's Got Talent. Singing to a backing track of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, Fr Ray said: I thought I needed to sing for my supper, so here’s me practicing Bring Him Home in my car. I’ve just got a backing track for the first song that we’ve recorded for my new album but if I’m going to be able to finish it I need you to help with my kickstarter campaign.
Father Raymond Kelly (born April 1953) is an Irish Catholic priest best known for his interpretation of popular songs. He is the priest of St. Brigid′s & St. Mary′s parish at Oldcastle, County Meath, Ireland, and a member of Saint Patrick’s Society for the Foreign Missions. Kelly became famous in 2014 after a video of him singing Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah" while officiating at a couple's wedding became a YouTube sensation.
Father Kelly also released a 13-track Christmas album titled An Irish Christmas Blessing in 2015. A source told The Sun: Viewers were led to believe Father Ray was an amateur. But he’s a star in his own right. It seems producers are running out of talent so have turned to people who’ve already made it. A Britain’s Got Talent spokesperson told Express. uk: "Father Ray Kelly was signed to Universal International for two albums only. His recording deal with Universal ended in 2015. He is currently a working priest and BGT is his biggest performance to date.
Kelly is the second studio album by R&B singer R. Kelly. It was released on November 14, 1995. The album was somewhat of a departure from his previous album's sexual innuendos, featuring slightly more introspective lyrics
I love every single song on this CD! Father Kelly has a clear voice with that tinge of Irish lilt that brightens up the day and brings joy to the listener. I can feel his heart being poured into his music and I have been deeply moved by what I hear. The songs stayed in my head and heart long after the CD finished playing.
