Bananarama is the second album released by British girl group Bananarama. Released in 1984, the album peaked at n. 6 on the UK album chart, also reaching the US top 40 album chart and was certified Silver by the BPI. Pop Life, Bananarama's first album with O'Sullivan, contained several collaborations with Youth, along with productions by Stock, Aitken & Waterman. The album gave them three modest hits in the . Only Your Love," "Preacher Man," and "Long Train Running. Bananarama entered a fallow period in the mid-'90s. Their next album, I Found Love, only saw release in Japan; it appeared under the title Ultra Violet in North America, Europe, and Australia, but conspicuously never was released in the United Kingdom. The French label M6 Interactions released Exotica in 2001, but the album didn't appear anywhere else.

Bananarama hated this video. The other two videos included in the collection were for "Do Not Disturb" and "More Than Physical". The video for "Do Not Disturb", the one track entirely produced by Jolley & Swain, was directed by Simon Milne, whereas the videos for the three songs produced by Stock, Aitken & Waterman (though "A Trick of the Night" was also produced by Jolley & Swain in its original album version) were all directed by Peter Care. Communards is the debut album by The Communards, released in 1986 (see 1986 in music) on London Records. The album was produced by Mike Thorne, who had previously produced Jimmy Somerville's earlier band, Bronski Beat.

Bananarama is a British Pop/Hi-NRG/Dance duo of singer-songwriters, formerly a trio, that formed in London, United Kingdom in 1981. Originally formed by members are Sarah Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward. Early successful singles were collaborations with Fun Boy Three. They built their success on albums released during the 80's, with their most successful being the Wow! album. Guinness Book of World Records listed Bananarama as the most successful British girl group in history.

Also, for the first time since 1992 both Sara and Keren started to play bass guitar on some tracks on the album. It contains the singles "Love Comes", "Love Don't Live Here" and other new tracks co-written by Dallin and Woodward, as well as three cover versions – "Rapture" (originally by iiO), "The Runner" (originally a 1979 hit for The Three Degrees) and "S-S-S-Single Bed"" (originally by Fox).
