Bayou Country is the second studio album by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released by Fantasy Records in January 1969, and was the first of three albums CCR released in that year. After ten years of struggling as the Blue Velvets and the Golliwogs, singer/guitarist John Fogerty, his brother guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford scored a hit single with "Susie Q" in June 1968 under the name Creedence Clearwater Revival.
An English country house is a large house or mansion in the English countryside. Such houses were often owned by individuals who also owned a town house. This allowed them to spend time in the country and in the city-hence, for these people, the term distinguished between town and country. However, the term also encompasses houses that were, and often still are, the full-time residence for the landed gentry that ruled rural Britain until the Reform Act 1832

Country songs about home continually pop up year after year, with singers expressing their longing for home, hoping to get the heck out of their hometowns, or just describing life i. .But perhaps the most gut-wrenching missing home song written in the modern country era is Miranda Lambert’s emotional The House that Built Me. In it, she wanders through the home where she grew up, noting that she knows its every nook and cranny. She knows where her beloved dog is buried in the yard. She remembers her room, where she first learned how to play the guitar. And she tries to come to terms with who she was then, and who she is now, hoping that paying this visit will help. You're going to love the tunes on this list.

Country houses come in both traditional and open floor plans, typically with large kitchens suitable for feeding groups on the regular. The other major common element is covered porches-some plans have them on the front or back, but others include full wraparound porches that surround the entire first story. Pitched rooflines, multi-paned windows, and garages that are either detached or set back from the rest of the residential structure also afford the distinctive look of a rural home
