I remove the record from the album cover and protect both within a plastic sleeve (unless it is sealed). I then sandwich that between two pieces of 13" x 13" cardboard, which is bigger than the vinyl/cover to protect all sides. That is then surrounded by bubble wrap and placed into a large, sturdy 13" x 13" box. I have had nothing but fantastic results using these better materials. Unfortunately, the shipping costs are slightly higher, but in the end if everyone is happy, I think it is worth it. You get what you pay for. Media Mail Shipping within the .

Eminem’s picture that had never been published before for The Slim Shady LP cover. Photo by Danny Hastings, 1998. The RapGOD meets PhotoGOD : photographer Danny Hastings told the story behind The Slim Shady LP album cover photo shoot. And showed Eminem’s picture that had never been published before. I had solidify myself as the go to guy for creative music photoshoots with alredy 75 album covers to my name. I had experimented with pretty much everything in photography. I was seasoned, knew what the labels needed and what the artist wanted and always took care of both parties. I was one of the first people that wasnt on Eminems camp to listen to most of the album prior to its public release. I immediately was blown away. I knew this was instant hip hop classic.

About The Slim Shady LP. Eminem’s breakthrough into the mainstream. It was pretty much all or nothing for him at this point, and the huge success of the album, lead by the single My Name Is, catapulted his career forward. The Slim Shady LP is the second studio album by American rapper Eminem and his major label debut. It was released on February 23, 1999 under Web Records and Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment. Recorded in Ferndale, Michigan following Eminem's recruitment by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, the album features production from Dr. Dre, the Bass Brothers, and Eminem himself. The majority of the record's lyrical content is written from the perspective of the rapper's alter ego Slim Shady, whom the rapper created on The Slim Shady EP (1997)

Sure enough, this is called The Slim Shady LP for a reason (just as the next two had their names for a reason), and the Slim Shady character was always lurking around a corner. But his role proved to be a backseat one, comparable to Flava Flav's role in Public Enemy. Of course, he comes from the same state as two of those acts. Whether Eminem is also left-handed is a question I can't answer. Throughout the album, he namedrops Cobain, the Beastie Boys, Kid Rock, and Vanilla Ice (directing adressing the unflattering comparisons he knew he would face).

23, 1999, The Slim Shady LP turned Eminem from an underground MC into a household name. Boasting production from Dr. Dre, the album went on to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys, while My Name Is won Best Rap Solo Performance. It has since sold over 18 million copies worldwide and was named among Rolling Stone‘s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

His foray into violence and belligerence, from the enlightened conscious rap of "Infinite" finds Em really discovering his own lane. It also results as the best horror-core crossover of all time. The key? He doesn't take himself seriously whatsoever and the result is pure fun. 3. 2y. CuckBoi5000.
