Hans Leo Hassler (in German, Hans Leo Haßler) (baptized 26 October 1564 – 8 June 1612) was a German composer and organist of the late Renaissance and early Baroque eras, elder brother of composer Jakob Hassler. He was born in Nuremberg and died in Frankfurt am Main. Hassler was born in Nuremberg and baptized on 26 October 1564, receiving his first instruction in music from his father, the organist Isaak Hassler.
He was born Hans Leo Gerd von Haßler zu Roseneckh near Augsburg, he studied literature, music and ancient history. He later wrote children's plays which he became most famous for and was a radio speaker in which he produced plays (Radio drama). After finishing many of his popular radio plays, Hassler took an interest in publishing a number of books.
Hans Bernd von Haeften (18 December 1905 – 15 August 1944) was a German jurist during the Nazi era. A member of the German Resistance against Adolf Hitler, he was arrested and executed in the aftermath of the failed 20 July plot. Haeften was born in Berlin, the son of Hans von Haeften (1870-1937), an army officer and President of the Reichsarchiv, and his wife the former Agnes von Brauchitsch (1869-1945), a relation of Walther von Brauchitsch.
Leopold "Leo" Rosner (26 June 1918 – 10 October 2008) was a Polish-born Australian musician. Rosner, who was Jewish, survived the Holocaust in Nazi concentration camps during World War II by playing his accordion for Nazi officials. This earned the attention of Oskar Schindler, who saved his life by having him placed on his famous list.
