It was released on Tangible Records, distributed by Bomp! Records. The title is a both a pun on and a tribute to the Rolling Stones' 1967 album, Their Satanic Majesties Request. In homage to and influenced by the Stones' somewhat controversial psychedelic album, Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request reveals vast experimentation with Indian drones, sitars,.

The album's title and music is influenced by The Rolling Stones' 1967 album Their Satanic Majesties Request. Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request reveals vast experimentation with Indian drones, sitars, mellotrons, farfisas, didgeridoos, tablas, congas, and glockenspiels. Following in the footsteps of Keith Richards and Brian Jones, BJM capture and explore the psychedelic rock sound of the late 1960s. a b c d Ankeny, Jason (1996-06-18).

  • Era
Does this come with MP3 download? This isn't mentioned above.
  • Deodorant for your language
I bought most of the A records vinyl reissues, including this one, and none of them came with a download code.
  • Cozius
Unbelievably tight fitting inner sleeves. Decided to turn mine sideways so I can remove the vinyl more easily rather than forcing them back in again. Took a lot of work to get them back into the cover just once without bending or creasing anything.
  • Tujar
I noticed my inner sleeves fit into the gatefold fine, but I need to use a cotton glove to remove the actual records from the sleeves. They are so tight i can only get them out naturally about an inch, do you think I could fit the record in a mofi sleeve along with the original inner sleeve side by side or would that be too tight? It really is a pain to listen to this killer album
  • Sagda
Mine is more yellow with a hint of white effect, just looks like a disc of custard...still, absolutely superb record and really nice repress.
  • Rarranere
I managed to find 2 white small micro dots on my copy.
  • Sat
Absolutely right, lemon/yellow discs, hardly any white present. Superb pressing though..
  • Cashoutmaster
Same here. Can barely make out the white in mine. 90-95% yellow vinyl.
