Produced by Neal Avron. Album Lights and Sounds. Lights and Sounds Lyrics. Hello you, how was the rest? You made it through but nevertheless I got you out on a wire You be love and I'll be a liar Tell it all and fill up the air But make it loud cause nobody's there Nobody’s there Nobody’s there. Stop, turn, take a look around At all the lights and sounds Let them bring you in Slow burn, let it all fade out Pull the curtain down And wonder where you’ve been. Make it new but stay in the lines Just let go but keep it inside Smile big for everyone.

Lights and Sounds is Yellowcard's first concept album, which was inspired to reflect what the band was feeling at the time of production and how they have matured in the process. Lights and Sounds also departs from the sounds on Yellowcard's previous album, Ocean Avenue (2003), which broke away from its pop punk sound to a more alternative rock album.
Features Song Lyrics for Yellowcard's Lights And Sounds album. Lights And Sounds - Live Lyrics. 6. When We Are Old Men Lyrics. 7. Down on My Head Lyrics. 8. Rough Landing, Holly Lyrics. 9.
Lights and Sounds is a bigger, broader album from their platinum debut album Ocean Avenue, that finds Yellowcard moving away from songs about breakups and onto more expansive themes of artifice, war, and adulthood. The guitars are tougher, the songs more intricate and encompass a wider spectrum of musical styles, which is evident the title track. Lights and Sounds is a statement of intent: Yellowcard has grown up. Never "just kids" to begin with, the -Florida quintet tackles thornier subjects than on 2003's Ocean Avenue, while taking a more ambitious approach towards their already proficient musicianship. Sean Mackin's surprisingly well integrated violin playing has always been a big part of their sound, but now they've upped the ante.
A diverse album, it has acoustic moments in addition to the pop punk you expect from Yellowcard. If you're going to listen to some pop punk, I would pick this album over the whiny crap excreted by GC and SP anyday. 0 of 0 users found this helpful.
