Ooh-oo child, things are gonna get easier. Ooh-oo child, things’ll get brighter. Listen to these words. Ooh-oo child, things are gonna get easier. His silly and light-hearted demeanor as he sung this song to me made me finally crack a smile for the first time in days. I even let out a soft giggle as his sentiment gesture. As he continues singing to me, my anger almost seemed to vanish into thin air and as he finishes his song, I felt him gently kiss my forehead but he doesn’t release me from his embrace. From the album Just A Stone’s Throw Away. Released 1977 on Columbia.

Album This Is Not The End EP. Ooh Child Lyrics. Ooh-ooh child Things are gonna get easier Ooh-ooh child Things'll get brighter Ooh-ooh child Things are gonna get easier Ooh-ooh child Things'll get brighter. Some day, yeah We'll get it together and we'll get it all done Some day When your head is much lighter Some day, yeah We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun Some day When the world is much brighter. Ooh Child was originally sung by a band of the 60’s called Five Stairsteps. This song talks of a person comforting a child of sorts, telling them to hold on and that soon things’ll get easier. Things will get brighter for them. Things won’t always be as they are at the moment, it will get better someday.
