The "Concierto homenaje a Canito" ("Canito Memorial Concert"), taking place on February 9th, 1980, is widely considered the traditional start date of La Movida Madrileña.
Méditerranée was a department of the First French Empire in present-day Italy. The department was disbanded after the defeat of Napoleon in 1814.
