Blue Sky" is a song by the American rock band the Allman Brothers Band from their third studio album, Eat a Peach (1972), released on Capricorn Records. The song was written and sung by guitarist Dickey Betts, who penned it about his girlfriend (and later wife), Sandy "Bluesky" Wabegijig. The track is also notable as one of guitarist Duane Allman's final recorded performances with the group.

Sky’s Still Blue Lyrics. You never see clearly, till you stop crying I never found it, until I stopped trying I stumbled upon you, and fell through the ceiling tiles. I started a fire to smoke out my treasons I tore down a building to pick up the pieces And now on a clear glass wall, I can see our fate But it’s a little too late. Oh, if you’re hearing this I must have made it through Oh, when the clouds above open up through my window I’ll see the sky’s still blue. You never hold onto what we believe in I think I've lost you, tell me I'm dreaming Why do we wait to live till we begin.

Will our sky keep its aqua blue When the last river runs black With oil like sticky tar Seeping into every stones crack Like a thick broth of ash stew. Will my sky hold it's mystic blue When the crystal heights shine like smoke Above an empire of lost dreams Granting green it's one last hope To natures forgotten few. Allen Steble. Topic(s) of this poem: Nature.

Lightning flashes across the sky, causing a slight scare, The storm is picking up in pace, those outside beware. Sheets of rain are falling now, causing a growling roar, Shadows cast by clouds above blanket the grassy floor. And yet outside you still stand, as the drops you so adore, Are lashing at your face and skin, painful all the more. Thunder booms throughout the clouds, stirring all who live. Yet in the field you still stand, without a care to give. Lightning lunges across the sky, the gods' violent shiv, You're in a precious moment, that never can you relive
