Robin Z. Crow (born October 30, 1953) is an American author, recording artist, and public speaker. Crow is best known for his 2002 autobiographical book entitled Jump and the Net Will Appear. Upon the release of that album, he moved to a farm in Franklin, Tennessee just outside Nashville and continued touring and promoting that record for almost two years. In 1993, Crow founded Dark Horse Recording Studio and over the next five years expanded it to a four-studio complex

The soundtrack to the movie The Crow was released in 1994. The album featured covers, including Nine Inch Nails who covered Joy Division's "Dead Souls", Pantera who covered Poison Idea's "The Badge", and Rollins Band who covered Suicide's "Ghost Rider", which is about a Marvel Comics character. Rage Against the Machine re-recorded their 1991 B-side "Darkness of Greed" and renamed it "Darkness" for this soundtrack. The Cure also wrote the song "Burn" for the movie.

Guitarist Robin Crow gained acclaim with five albums issued on independent labels and relentless touring on the college concert circuit. Rendezvous Entertainment/RCA rewarded him with a major-label contract, and 1992's remarkable instrumental album Electric Cinema was the result. Crow's music, which he himself has described as " Pink Floyd goes instrumental," has a definite new age feel. His guitar style relies heavily on unorthodox tunings, and that adds a distinctive flavor to his work.

Despite the religious connotation in the title this is prime acoustic guitar lead instrumental music not unlike UK's Gordon Giltraps expeditions(think Perilous Journey/Fear of Dark) in the late 70s early 80s. There is NO electric guitar on this recording whatsoever although you can hear a rock and roll influence in every track theres balance and though in all the compositions. There is that 80s Windham Hill vibe(think Alex Degrassi) in a few tracks where the solo acoustic nature of his guitar really shines and pulls the heartstrings. Crow's band is in perfect support mode adding touches of fretless bass, sax, percussion and synthesizers to the music. This is light music without being bland and the proteins in the melodies Crow can magically construct from the ether of his musical muse.I could picture listening to Creator out on the open roads where land is wide open and flows in continuous graceful geometric splendor!Definitely a forgotten gem!
