Concerto For String Quartet And String Orchestra, Kaloyan’s Daughter Suite ‎(LP). Marin Goleminov, Kamen Goleminov, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Anton Dikov - Marin Goleminov ‎(LP, Album).

The Concerto for Cello, Piano, and String Orchestra is a composition for solo cello, piano, and a large string orchestra by the American composer Ralph Shapey. The work was composed for the cellist Joel Krosnick and the pianist Gilbert Kalish and was first performed at Tanglewood in 1989. It was first performed by Krosnick, Kalish, and the Berkshire Music Chamber Orchestra under the composer on July 31, 1989.

The Concerto for Orchestra, Sz. 116, BB 123, is a five-movement orchestral work composed by Béla Bartók in 1943  . It has been speculated that Bartók's previous work, the String Quartet No. 6 (1939), could well have been his last were it not for this commission, which sparked a small number of other compositions, including his Sonata for Solo Violin and Piano Concerto No. .Bartók revised the piece in February 1945, the biggest change coming in the last movement, where he wrote a longer ending.

Marin Goleminov (1908-2000) was a Bulgarian composer and conductor. In 1931 he graduated from the Sofia State Music Academy, and in 1934 from the Schola Cantorum, Paris, where he studied with Vincent d’Indy, Guy de Lioncourt (composition), Marcel Labey (conducting) and Paul Le Flem (theory). The turning point in his career was the Concerto for String Quartet and Strings (1963), which marks the beginnings of more sophisticated harmony and a highly accomplished orchestral style.
