Virtuoso is an album by jazz guitarist Joe Pass that was released in 1973. Despite having only one original composition ("Blues for Alican"), it is widely considered to be his best album, as well as one of the best jazz guitar albums. The remastered version used 20-bit K2 Super Coding System technology and included liner notes by Benny Green.

Live at Donte's (or The Joe Pass Trio Live at Donte's) is a live album by American jazz guitarist Joe Pass, released in 1974 (see 1974 in music). It was originally released as a double-LP and reissued on CD by Pablo in 1995 and again in 2002. After spending over ten years playing in relative obscurity, Pass released the critically acclaimed solo-guitar Virtuoso and also played on two Ella Fitzgerald releases. Then came Live at Donte's where the trio format proved very effective and opened even more avenues for Pass' talents in the year's to come
Joe Pass (born Joseph Anthony Passalaqua, January 13, 1929, New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA, died May 23, 1994, Los Angeles, California), was a virtuoso jazz guitarist. One of the greatest solo jazz artists of all time, Joe Pass also ranks as one of the great guitarists not only for his knowledge of the instrument and technical prowess, but also his compositional and improvisational skills.
