Drastic Plastic is the last album by art rock band Be-Bop Deluxe, released in February 1978. Drastic Plastic was recorded in Chateau Saint Georges, Juan-les-Pins, in the south of France in the summer of 1977. Nelson recorded the album in Chateau Saint Georges, because he was inspired by the relation of the place with artist Jean Cocteau, who influenced him in the 1960s.
Stash : Drastic Plastic. Another one is that bands exist because they have something to say and an interesting way to express it. Luckily, here are Stash (blah John Peel, blah Steve Lamacq, blah prosaic chirpy twanging indie shiteing) to prove that really isn’t the case, and that the two can sometimes just exist to serve the pure mediocrity of each other. Nothing to say. ‘Fun’.
