Walking on Sunshine (Katrina and the Waves song). Walking on Sunshine" is a song written by Kimberley Rew for Katrina and the Waves' 1983 eponymous debut full-length album. The re-recorded version was at first released on the band's 1985 self-titled album as the album's second single and reached No. 4 in Australia, No. 9 in the United States, and No. 8 in the United Kingdom.

I'm looking for a song sung by a male. I heard it on the show New Amsterdam a few weeks ago but no luck when looking through songs featured in the show. It's a male singer and is very slow and acoustic. The lyric I keep remembering goes something like "And maybe I'm going home again" I feel like I've heard this song on another show a while back - maybe Greys Anatomy or Without a Trace?

Walking on Sunshine is a video remix series based on footage from an episode of the reality television show Intervention detailing a young woman's struggle with inhalant addiction. The videos usually feature the 1983 hit single with the same name by the English-American rock band Katrina and the Waves for comedic effect. In the episode, Towelie is shown reenacting several scenes from the Intervention episode (shown below). On October 4th, 2011, the pop culture blog The Frisky posted a list of items that could be used to create a Halloween costume of Allison as seen in the Intervention episode. On June 22nd, 2012, the web comic Don Depresso published an illustration mocking computer duster inhalation (shown below, right).

Walking On Sunshine". Ow. Mm, yeah I used to think maybe you loved me, now, baby, I'm sure And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my door Now every time I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down 'Cause I just can't wait till you write me you're coming around. Now I'm walking on sunshine, whoa I'm walking on sunshine, whoa I'm walking on sunshine, whoa And don't it feel good Hey, all right now And don't it feel good Hey, yeah

You're not my sunshine Not my sunshine You make me lose my mind every fucking day You'll never know dear How much I hate you So please just stay the fuck away. The sun burns my skin (the sun burns my skin) It makes me realise the darkness within I think I'm sick because everything starts to spin And you just watch me with a grin. You're not my sunshine You're not my sunshine You make me lose my mind every fucking day You'll never know dear How much I hate you So please just stay the fuck away. Listen to the best summer songs playlist. You don’t have to live in the . sunshine, dress like the Fresh Prince or even remember the ’90s especially well to recognize this song as the ultimate summer jam. Delivered by ’90s hip-hop pop heroes Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, this dreamy ode to the fairest of the seasons checks off pretty much every summer essential, from shooting hoops on the street, to dancing at a barbecue and reminiscing about the first person you kissed-but the real joy of Summertime is that it’s so easy. Some might chuckle at those synthetic seagull caws and dated drum-machine tones, but anyone who claims not to feel a chill when Henley recounts seeing a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac probably needs a pulse check. This is beachside existentialism 10. Hank Shteamer.
