Cold Cuts is an unreleased album of outtakes by Paul McCartney. The album was originally planned to be released in 1975 and McCartney revisited the project several times over the years until it was abandoned permanently in the late 1980s. The songs on the album were recorded during his solo career and with Wings in the 1970s and 1980s. The album was originally conceived as a budget release in 1974, composed of non-album singles and previously unreleased tracks.

Cold Cuts is the third live album by English acoustic roots duo Show of Hands. Following the duo's successful Royal Albert Hall performance in 2001 which was televised as The Big Gig, the duo released the studio album Cold Frontier in September of that year, which saw the duo use a more basic instrumental set up that what they had grown accustomed to. A critical success, they followed it with The Cold Frontier Tour in November 2001. The tour was unusual in that the duo opted to perform both obscure older material and cover versions in re-arranged formats, in addition to material from Cold Frontier. Many of the tracks had never featured on a Sho of Hands.

After brewing up the material for Cold Cuts with his collaborator Dick Heninghem, they returned to America with drummer Eric Peachey in 1970 and recorded the album in Los Angeles, with engineer Richard Barcelona at the controls and Greenwood and Marc Chase producing. The sessions also included input from guest musicians including Bunk Gardner from the Mothers of Invention and Bryn Haworth, formerly of Les Fleur de Lys, and the powerful results are rightly regarded as a progressive rock classic.

By Paul McCartney, Unofficial album. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of such covers qualifies as fair use. Complete Acetate Collection 1961-1970.

Throughout Cold Cuts Nicholas Greenwood communicates very directly and often movingly so, what it's like to be a moral creature in a world where such concerns are considered either a weakness or a hindrance, and that's considerably more than any bloated banquet that prog ever served u. He released only one solo album throughout his career - "Cold Cuts". He recruited his fellow Khan drummer Eric Peachey, Frank Zappa's saxophone player Bunk Gardner, Chris Pritchard from a folk group Silly Wizard, Bryn Howarth, a guitarist who would later be known for his religious projects and a few other musicians, who were only to be known through this project. The main wonder of this album is the incredible keyboardist Dick Henningham, who made his only appearance on this album.
