CHOBA B CCCP is the seventh solo studio album by Paul McCartney under his own name, originally released in October 1988 exclusively in the Soviet Union. The album consists entirely of live-in-studio recordings of covers, mainly of rock and roll oldies (similar to John Lennon's 1975 album Rock 'n' Roll). With the addition of an extra track, it was released internationally in 1991.

By Paul McCartney, Official album, Part of the collection Paul McCartney Archive Collection. Paul McCartney: Acoustic guitar, Bass, Drums, Electric guitar, Engineer, Producer, Vocals.

Paul McCartney and John Lennon have been considered one of the strongest song partnerships of the century, creating over 180 songs with both working equally on music and lyrics. Paul joined the Beatles when they were still called the Quarrymen and stayed with the band until it dissolved in 1975. He was often considered the main leader of the band along with John Lennon. Despite the break-up, the Beatles music retained epic status and is cited as an influence to hundreds of other musicians and artists worldwide. Paul McCartney, an English musician and songwriter, is probably most known for being in the Beatles, although he has had a long career as a solo artist. Paul McCartney and John Lennon have been considered one of the strongest song partnerships of the century, creating over 180 songs with both working equally on music and lyrics.

Paul McCartney retreated from the spotlight of the Beatles by recording his first solo album at his home studio, performing nearly all of the instruments himself. Appropriately, McCartney has an endearingly ragged, homemade quality that makes even its filler - and there is quite a bit of filler - rather ingratiating. McCartney's trademark. The rest of the album is charmingly slight, especially if it is read as a way to bring Paul back to earth after the heights of the Beatles. At the time the throwaway nature of much of the material was a shock, but it has become charming in retrospect. Unfortunately, in retrospect it also appears as a harbinger of the nagging mediocrity that would plague McCartney's entire solo career.
