Lost In Space (Original Series Soundtrack). Christopher Lennertz. We own all three years of "Lost In Space" on video. I've always heard the music accompany the dialogue and the action. To hear the soundtrack in both stereo and without any other distractions (I don't say this in a negative way) elevates the music into a whole new universe. Put your headphones on and you'll find yourself "lost in sound", a serious, symphonic journey with Mahler-like intensity. The sound quality is excellent. The horns, strings (especially the plunging violins and the deep tug and pull of cellos) and other instruments march you forward

A soundtrack album is any album that incorporates music directly recorded from the soundtrack of a particular feature film or television show. The first such album to be commercially released was Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the soundtrack to the film of the same name, in 1938. The first soundtrack album of a film's orchestral score was that for Alexander Korda's 1942 film Jungle Book, composed by Miklós Rózsa.
